I am commanded by the Army Council to forward herewith for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies 4 copies of a Memorandum by the Colonial Defence Committee No: 326 M. on the Hospital Accommodation in War at Hong Kong, in which the Council propose to concur.

The Council would be glad to be informed whether Mr. Secretary Lyttelton concurs in the Memorandum, and if so, they suggest that 3 copies should be forwarded to the

Governor of Hong Kong.
